Ingredients

1kg good beef mince

1-2 onions finely chopped

1 egg

125 ml bread crumbs

125 ml grated cheese

30 ml tomato sauce

Worcester sauce, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, chutney, crumbled stock cube, chilli sauce, etc.


Method

Chop onion, cheese, bread crumbs in food processor. Add flavourings and eggs.

Lightly mix in beef mince. Stir with a spoon – it musn’t be like paste!

With wet hands on a floured board shape hamburgers.

Refrigerate, if possible before frying, as it helps stop them from crumbling.
