Ingredients
(1 cup = 250ml)
1½ cups porridge oats
1½ cups flour + 2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup brown sugar
2 flat teaspoons bicarbonate soda
2 tablespoons cold water
1 tablespoon syrup
230g marge/butter or 160 ml oil.
Vanilla essence and salt
Method
Melt marge/butter and syrup in big saucepan. In separate bowl mix dry ingredients. Pour into saucepan and stir. Spread on to baking tray or put small dollops on baking sheet far apart.
Bake about 10-15 min, till browned.
